With Emily Dickinson

Happy Day 78 : https://mormonshare.com/lds-clipart/bird-and-wor

These are two stanzas from a poem read by me in my childhood  which I remembered today on seeing a bird having a gala feast! Indeed a remarkable feat.... The poem !

"A bird came down the walk:
He did not know I saw;
He bit an angle-worm in halves
And ate the fellow, raw.

Happy Day 79
And then he   drank a dew
From a convenient grass,
And then hopped side wise to the wall
To let a beetle pass."                                         - Emily Dickinson
