A Blog about Books and Life.
Bestowing sunshine of love, laughter, wisdom and amazement on the blue clouds of dullness and despair, enabling to find the silver lining of grit, gratitude, hope, and happiness.
The joy of wearing those colorful bangles, the rhythm of the clinking..the imagery of that happiness is so vivid right now! Beautiful! (I wonder, if girls still love to wear them along with an innocent smile that makes it way up or are they too busy following the trend ;) )Welcome poetess to 2015 :)
I was smiling reading comment ... of course girls 'with' innocent smile still love to wear them ..only girls and innocence don't gel anymore ;) but then it was always an oxymoron :PThanks for the insightful ... no wistful comment ...(its called wishful thinking :P :P ) But yes I love bangles and thanks a ton for enjoying the tinkle :)
Yay! Happy happy that it made u smile ;) (on a lighter note... even men love bangles a lot.. they're a lot cheaper and better than those bags I say :P *runs away*)
LOl .. how smart of you to *run away* Boy ..Now have some other uses of the bangle and the bangle walis :P - जिनकी हुंकार सुन त्रिभुवन काँपता है जिनका प्रताप लख विश्व थरथराता है रण में कठोर हैं कराल विकराल हम , चूड़ियों का सुदर्शन चक्र बन जाता है:) :P
scary haiku :P I prefer mine, pehle waala ;) *still running* :D
Ah.. you gave new meanings to kareena kapoor-Imran Khan song - "mere aage-aage tu ... tere peeche peeche main.." :P :P great to have you here .. even if * running * :)
Wow D Great..... Sudarshan out of bangle :)
It's an open door to the world of imaginations and beauty - shringar ras, role of bangles in the game of romance and seduction, Radha teasing Krishna and so on.On a different plane, circles of light could be understood in terms of circular light pictured around the enlightened heads - the sparkling and gleaming aura. Clink and tinkle as primordial sound of existence. Almighty is creating Maya (illusion of colors from a single white) through HIS wrist. :)
Awesome plane Ravish.. but then where else can I find you if not there :)... I was too engrossed in MY love for glass bangles, the play of light and colour and their tinkling that I hardly (not at all) thought about Him... Loved the inference of primordial sounds from the tinkling :)Thanks for the beauty and the meaning you added to it ... as always :)
Woah! Wonderful.... "Ravish, ye perception style mujhe de de, Ravish" :D (that's the best compliment I could come up with)
Thanks dude :)

Kaleidoscope on my wrist...frenzied colours laughing and lilting, making the whole world... a circle... :-) ...and it also instantly reminded me the song..'bole chudiya, bole kangna' .... :-D wonderfully penned Kokila... also loved the vivid explanation by Ravish..
Baba re Mani.. look at the beauty of the comment itself !! :) am grinning ear to ear... when friends are so lyrical and kaleidoscopic in comments, one HAS to make the post brighter and lovelier ... and talk about raising the bar ;P :P :P Love and Thanks for the beautiful words friend :)Ravish to ...... no words ... :P:)

Beautiful words. I remember wearing such beautiful glass bangles when I was young
So true Shashi, in childhood bangles were so special ...wearing them on festivals and merriments..And my love for the colour, reflection in sunshine and the sound of them is so great that I wear at least 2 circles on each wrist daily :) :) ANd Sarojini Naidu 's Bangle sellers only enhanced this love ....Love these so much :) PS Please visit here fro the poem - http://sunshineandblueclouds.blogspot.in/2013/12/bangle-sellers-sarojini-naidu.html

I love bangles. When I wear a sari, I love to wear loads of bangles. The picture you shared is so pretty. And the words jingle perfectly with the bangles.
Yeah Rachna ...they go beautifully with Indian wears and some crazies like me try them on denims too .... :P :P actually had a bet for wearing a wrist full for college for one whole day, all lectures ... but one glimpse of the stern face of the HOD and I immediately took them out .. lost it :p
Bangles as 'Rainbows around the wrist'. An impressive response to the prompt 'Circle'...
