Try : Haiku

credits
                                                            winning always is
not central.. at times it is
                                                            just enough to try

                                                                                                                                   ****

                                                            strength is to hold on

courage is when you try to
set free ...and ... let go

  2. simple words that carry vision and profoundness.. great to see your Haikus again :)

    the path you tread on
is a journey to be lived
    the true destiny

    every effort counts
so try, not just to succeed but
    for joy of trying

    set free and let go
    love isn't to be constrained
    sign of true valour

    Beautiful Kokila :)

  3. Winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to loose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat and go onto win again, you are going to be a champion someday.

  4. Happy Pongal Kokila :)..

Winning sure is a great treat, but the way we get there is an amazing feat indeed. It reminds me of the quote - "It is not what you get in life that matters, it is who you get to become"

    1. So true Sweety ! Yes, not only as parents but as humans too we should refrain from promoting the 'Trophy Hoarding Mentality' specially in kids. They are like flowers ... let them bloom .. some are roses , some are lilies... they all are beautiful .And the best bouquet is a right mix of all :) Thanks for the insightful words Sweety :)

  10. So right.
We've all been told that trying was more important than winning. I was not so sure for a long time. However, with age, it seems to make sense. I've learnt that when you 'try' there is no place for regret. :)

"Courage is when you try to set free and let go?"
    Simply POWERFUL, Kokila.

    Nice job! :)
