Sleep : Haiku Hindi



                                                       सोना है अभी 
                                                      ये  सूरज बुझा दो 
                                                        छुट्टियां शुरू

                                                                so please, snuff out this sun, love 
                                                                  vacations started 



सोना = sleep                                                             बुझा = snuffed out
छुट्टियां = holidays                                                     शुरू   = started

    I sort of know what you are saying but I feel something is not quite right with the translation of the middle line.
    Where did I go wrong?

      yes the middle line is little off. I am updating the haiku in English .. translating it :)

  10. A haiku after my own heart! Wish I could switch off the sun at will! Wish I could switch on the celestial night lamp-moon, when and where I wanted! Wish I could frolic with those twinkling stars, while the old sun was dozing somewhere, beyond the mountains! Wish!
