Weeping Willow : Haiku

Top Post on IndiBlogger

Image with thanks from  Bonita Jewel Here :)

                                                  I sway, glide, sashay

like boughs of weeping willow -                                                                                                                                               enthused, in rapture

                bow down your ego
Like weeping willows pliant                                             unlearn shooting up

unlearning helps to                                                           bask in sunshine, dance with winds...
                to sway while rooted

                 be rooted but free
                 accept like weeping willow
                 find peace, laughter,bliss

Hey, I am not sure if it's a problem with my browser, but the second one seems to have a formatting issue - a lot of gaps between words...

  13. I wonder why they are called Weeping Willows...do they shed tears of joy because they bow in reverence to a superior force?

Before penning, I too wondered, googled and reached somewhat similar conclusion.. and yes in Celtic symbolism it means a dreamy joy !
I am totally enamoured by the hanging boughs ..the way they sway ..... Thank you for leaving this wonderful digital footprint dear :)
