  3. Beautiful haiku as usual Kokila coupled with the picture of the child snuggling comfortably and drifting off to the world of dreams...
And yes, sometimes praises mean nothing.

  4. Indeed Kokila, sometimes it all seems like a sham and at the very next moment it all seems the threadbare truth. Quite a drift isn't it? :)

  5. Liked the way you presented two different perspectives of ‘Follow.’ We need to be very careful while following anything, whether dreams or persons. Accomplishing piddling wishes, ultimately, lead to frustration only.

I couldn’t stop smiling, by seeing the sarcasm in 2nd haiku. We often get praise & likes for a favour of same in return, not for its worthiness. For example, “Nice post. I write at so & so. Please follow my blog.”

As for the second , I am blessed as I have struck pure gold in friendship :) :) Thank you Ravish :)

  7. Dear Kokila, life is certainly better with friends and I feel lucky to count you as one of mine.
Thank you for the sweet comments left on my blog. I had not heard about Holi - the festival of colours but I’ve just been looking around online and I see it was celebrated in several places in England this year – next year I will be looking out for it. Thank you for telling me about it and for always introducing me to something new.
If you would ever like a guest spot on my blog you would be very, very welcome. You could write about your childhood, what you are doing now, or anything at all really. I would just be pleased to host you.
Thank you again for your always kind comments, Barbara.

  32. The more the Haiku forces one to ponder, the better it is (maintaining it's beauty) and your haikus enthrals always.
Well, I read the second one where the first two lines described the probability of facade these days but then the third.. left me..saying.. wait! follow me here.. and see it all change.. u won't find it.. or so I read and then later read Ravish's comment!
The first haiku here held the depth and the beauty that you enrich Haikus with.. while second one didn't resonate...taking in the both the meanings.. it's just me I guess :) Cheers! Love your haikus.

    1. Thanks a million Shinchan for sharing your thoughts ! I am glad you liked something at least :P as for the second one no worries as its a tongue in cheek satire more in the league of Senryu - haiku about human emotions or society . Your honest thoughts are much welcome and valued Shashank :):)
