Cold : Haiku

                                                                                                      amber warmth in cold
                                                                      sunshine spilled on frozen lakes
                                                                      swells and ebbs beneath

Though late , this haiku is written as a part of  HWT -Haiku Writing Technique of  The Carpe Diem Haiku Kai with 'cold' or 'Deep in Cold North' as the theme. The HWT here was double entendre” which, as the name suggests, is open to two interpretations of which, the one is usually risqué.

  1. Sunshine spilled on frozen lake is such a beautiful expression! Cold ice glowing in the warmth of sunshine. :)

  3. Hope I get its double meaning correctly. After Maniparna's haiku on double entendre, I see it everywhere except the ones written specifically for it. lol
